🎻 Celebrating Ethan’s NYOS Summer! 🎶

A huge congratulations to Ethan, who took part in a National Youth Orchestras of Scotland (NYOS) Academy course over the summer!

We’re especially proud that Ethan is the first member of Peebles String Orchestra to take part in a NYOS course — an exciting milestone for both Ethan and PSO. 🌟

NYOS gives young musicians from across Scotland the opportunity to play together, work with fantastic tutors and conductors, and take the next steps in their musical development. We hope Ethan will be the first of many PSO musicians to take advantage of these opportunities in the years ahead.

Applications for the next round of NYOS opportunities are now open, so if you’re a young musician looking for your next challenge, take a look:

Well done, Ethan — we’re incredibly proud to see you representing Peebles String Orchestra on a national stage! 🎻❤️

🎶 We’re delighted to be part of the Peebles High School Spring Concert! 🎶

We are thrilled to share that both our Senior Orchestra and Junior Orchestra will be performing in this year’s concert at Peebles High School.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our young musicians to showcase their hard work, commitment, and musical progress as part of a wider school community celebration of music.

Opportunities like this are so important in helping our players grow in confidence, develop their ensemble skills, and experience the joy of live performance.

We’re incredibly proud of everything they’ve achieved this term and can’t wait to see them shine on stage. ✨
