We want everyone to feel comfortable and able to enjoy our activities, whether you’re a child or an adult.
If you or someone you’re visiting with would benefit from a sensory support bag, simply ask a member of our team. No questions asked. Borrow it for your visit, use whatever you need, and return it when you’re finished.
A small bit of extra support can make a big difference. 💚
🌈 OUR BORROW A BAG SCHEME HAS LAUNCHED! 🌈
We are so pleased to finally share that our Borrow a Bag Scheme is now available across Oswestry. 🥰
We know that being out and about can sometimes become overwhelming. Busy environments, noise, lights, crowds and unexpected changes can all become a bit too much.
Our Borrow a Bag Scheme is a simple way of offering a little extra support when it is needed. 💚
👜 WHAT IS A BORROW A BAG?
Our bags contain a range of sensory and fidget items, such as ear defenders, fidgets, breathe cards and texture stones. These can be used to support someone who is experiencing sensory overwhelm or dysregulation while visiting one of the participating venues.
There is no complicated process and no need to explain yourself.
💬 Just ask a member of staff if you can borrow a bag.
Use what helps while you are there, then simply return the bag and its contents before you leave. 💕

Our sensory support bags are available in a growing range of places where people in our community shop, learn, exercise, socialise and spend time together. 🌈
And importantly, the bags are not just for children.
If you or someone with you is struggling in one of these venues, please ask. 💚
No judgement. No fuss. Just a little bit of support when it might make a big difference.

🌸 IN MEMORY OF CARYS
This scheme also holds a very special meaning for us.
It is launched in loving memory of Carys, a vibrant young woman whose loss is felt very deeply. 💕
We hope that through this scheme, something positive can continue in her memory, helping people feel a little more comfortable, understood and included within their community.
Sometimes inclusion does not require a huge change.
Sometimes it is knowing there is somewhere to turn when things become too much.
Sometimes it is having something in your hands that helps you regulate.
Sometimes it is simply knowing someone has thought about what you might need. 💚
Our hope is that Borrow a Bag will be another small step towards making Oswestry a place where more people feel able to take part, feel welcome and feel understood.
