A founding member of Drum Corps United Kingdom and the British Youth Band Association, The Pacemakers is a Boys' and Girls' Brigade marching band from Orpington, Kent. It aims to provide opportunities for young people to develop musical knowledge, life skills and experiences in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.

We had a great weekend rehearsing and then performing at Wivenhoe. Essex Sport was a fantastic venue and a great crowd to perform in front of. Our first performance of our 2026 production Broadway Beats received a welcomed response from the spectators. Working hard now to make improvements before the next show in a few weeks time.
