What a fantastic evening at our Young Frankenstein launch night!

We were thrilled to see so many of you join us to hear more about this hilariously spooky production. The excitement in the room was incredible, and we can't wait to get this show off the ground and bring it to life on stage.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and showed their support. Rehearsals are just around the corner, and we’re excited to start this monstrously fun journey together!

📅 Young Frankenstein runs from 28th–31st October at the Bob Hope Theatre. Make sure to save the dates – you won't want to miss it!

🎶 Meet Our Musical Director! 🎶

PWOS are delighted to announce that Richard Campbell will be returning as Musical Director for our Halloween production of 'Young Frankenstein'.

Following the fantastic success of 'Sweet Charity', Richard is ready to take on Mel Brooks' hilarious musical comedy, bringing his passion, expertise, and musical flair to this monstrously entertaining show.

💃 Meet the Choreographer! 💃

We are thrilled to announce that Lydia Porter will be choreographing our upcoming production of 'Young Frankenstein', coming to the Bob Hope Theatre from 28th–31st October 2026!

Lydia previously choreographed for our 2023 production of 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels', bringing energy, style, and creativity to every number.

We're delighted to have Lydia back on the creative team and can't wait to see the fantastic routines she has in store for this monstrously entertaining musical. With 'Young Frankenstein' featuring one of musical theatre's most iconic tap numbers, "Puttin' on the Ritz", Lydia will be helping our cast bring plenty of sparkle, precision, and show-stopping energy to the stage!

🎭 Meet the Director! 🎭

We are delighted to announce that Tim Molyneux will be directing our next production, Young Frankenstein, coming to the Bob Hope Theatre from 28th–31st October 2026!

Tim will be a familiar face to many of our members and audiences, having made his debut with the society as the unforgettable Alfred Doolittle in 'My Fair Lady' in 2025. Now, he's stepping into the Director's chair to bring Mel Brooks' hilarious musical comedy to life.

With his enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for theatre, we're excited to see Tim's vision for this monstrously funny show. Join us in giving him a warm welcome as we begin our journey to Young Frankenstein!

What better way to beat the post show blues than by announcing our next production… 🧪⚡

Join us this Halloween at the Bob Hope Theatre as we bring the writer of 'The Producers' Mel Brooks' monstrously funny musical comedy 'Young Frankenstein' to the stage! Based on the classic comedy film, the show follows the grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein as he reluctantly returns to Transylvania, where things quickly spiral into brilliantly chaotic madness, complete with unforgettable characters, hilarious musical numbers, and plenty of spooky fun.

We are absolutely thrilled to be making our debut as a company at the Bob Hope Theatre from 28th–31st October 2026. 🎭

🎭 The final curtain has fallen on 'Sweet Charity!' 🎭

What an incredible journey it has been. As we say goodbye to 'Sweet Charity', we want to thank everyone who helped make this production such a success.

To our talented cast, dedicated crew, creative team, musicians, volunteers, and everyone working behind the scenes thank you for your hard work, commitment, and passion.

To our audiences, thank you for your support, enthusiasm, and wonderful reception throughout the run. Your applause and encouragement meant the world to us.

While it's sad to close this chapter, we're so proud of everything we achieved together and the memories we've made along the way.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved in 'Sweet Charity'. It's been a joy to share this experience with you all.

This is pretty much how we're feeling today... 😭❤️

After weeks of rehearsals, laughter, friendships, music, and unforgettable memories, tonight is the final performance of 'Sweet Charity!'

We've loved every second of bringing this show to life, and we're not quite ready to say goodbye. But what a journey it's been.
