ULSTER-SCOTS MUSIC AND DANCE TUITION PROGRAMME πŸŽ΅πŸ’™πŸ˜€

The Ulster-Scots Agency has opened an Ulster-Scots Music and Dance Tuition programme for voluntary and community organisations, which will support music and dance tuition from the 1st September 2026 to 31st May 2027. Applications close at 3pm on Friday 17th July.

Please note that there are two sperate applications - one for Dance and the one for Music.

πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπŸ’ƒ Dance Tuition - The grant supports up to 30 weeks of Highland or Scottish Country Dance, with an option which supports accreditation. Groups wishing to apply for a Dance tuition project can register using this link - https://form.jotform.com/261461964417361

🎢πŸ₯ Music Tuition – The grant supports up to 20 weeks of tuition across a range of Ulster-Scots musical traditions, including drum major tuition, and offers support for accreditation. Groups wishing to apply for a Music tuition project can register using this link - https://form.jotform.com/261413105123339

Following a successful registration, an application form, guidelines and template for the Scheme of Work will be emailed to the group. Groups interested in applying are encouraged to carefully read the guidelines, and if possible, attend the information workshops πŸ‘πŸ»

All eligible and capped costs are listed in the guidelines. The maximum funding available for groups is 75% of eligible costs. Applications close on Friday 17th July at 3pm.

Groups must ensure that they have submitted all the listed supporting documentation, and for groups based in Northern Ireland, uploaded the required documents to the Government Funders Database. We would encourage groups to submit their applications as soon as possible in advance of the deadline.

We anticipate this programme will be significantly oversubscribed, therefore incomplete applications, or applications which fail to submit all the required supporting documents, will be rejected.

For further information or clarification on any aspect of the programme, please contact our Community Development Officer Derek Reaney on [email protected] 07843279912

Please like and share and help us spread the word πŸ™ŒπŸ»
