I've no idea how well this will turn out and I can't wait to press it. So here's hoping that my first Sea Beech find will be a success. I'm intrigued by the mix of colours although I do love the all pink specimens. But the beauty of nature is that you can't predict what gets washed up in the rockpools.

A little piece of the Welsh coast has made its way to Cardiff 🌊

I’m delighted to have my coastal artwork on display at Waterloo Tea, with pieces made from sea glass, shells, seaweed and other treasures collected along the Welsh coastline.

Had a such an enjoyable time of the beach yesterday afternoon. Life's a bit crazy ar the moment with lots of tough stuff to juggle so what better escapism than a few hours at the beach. When I was trying to drag myself away after collecting some lovely seaweeds, I came across some tiny shells and was super chuffed to find some Cowries.

I didn't expect to find one of these on my local beach. It's called a By-the-wind sailor, or if you want to sound super knowledgeable it's scientifically known as Velella velella. Pretty impressive isn't it!
