Early morning walks & uninterrupted painting time 👌

I’m working on a few pieces at the same time to create a small collection of 100x100cm paintings in the same colour palette & feel. A couple of them are well on their way thanks to locking myself in the studio for a few days with nothing else but Ben Howard on repeat 😅.

In the meantime my commissions are now open, DM me and I will send over all the info 🩵

Wooden panel instead of my usual hand stretched raw canvas. Love how the textures of the paint ant the plywood sit together! A couple more layers on this piece, framing and we are done!

Years and years of classical art education (think countless still lifes and drawings of classical roman and greek casts) which I loved but eventually stepped away from to make space for design education and then a career in interior design.

In the last few years I returned to art and have been absolutely loving the process of making something with my own hands 🧡

I have worked on originals and commissions, both for friends and strangers who found me online.

So from classical art education to carefully planned oil paintings to expressive abstracts, the art is always changing.

And I’m so excited for what’s coming next 🧡

STUDIO DIARIES: rainy day edition ☔️
For someone who is quite literally obsessed with the light and the sun I have to find ways to keep my brain focused and excited to paint in this light (or more like the lack of 😂).
Im currently working on developing a colour palette for a couple of larger pieces I’m aiming to exhibit in a few weeks time!!! More on that once all the details are confirmed 🤫
