Nottingham has a great and growing folk scene - come along and be a part of it!

Hosted by Luddite Folk Session, Folkroom Records, and The Grove, Nottingham Folk Night is an open and welcoming space for new and established musicians to meet and share their music.

Tickets for performers and audience are available in advance and on the door, and a range of drinks are available at The Grove's bar.

Doors open at 7, music from 7.30 until 11.

Any folk and traditional music welcome, sung or instrumental, with signups at the door and 15 minute slots per act. Microphones and amplification are available and please do contact The Grove if you have any queries ([email protected])

How do we remember the wars of the past, how does it shape our present?

An evening for discussion and reflection hosted by and friends from

With songs and music from and about the World Wars, and a space to encourage discussion about what remembrance means today, in a world where war goes on and the past is increasingly politically disputed.

Feel free to bring contributions of your own - songs poems, stories or discussion topics are all welcome.

If you are able to pay, we will be welcoming donations of £5 to By Our Hands We Make Our Way, and funds raised beyond the venue hire to go to refugee support charities.
