Next up… Emily & Dahra 💥

Both joined the group this season, although Emily is no stranger to NAT, having previously been part of the company before Covid. It’s been wonderful to welcome her back and see her performing on the Nottingham Arts Theatre stage once again.

Dahra takes on the role of Gov Johnson, alongside a number of other cameo appearances throughout the show. Emily also features in several roles and is one of our alternate dancers, ready to step in whenever needed.

Though both are relatively new to this company, they’ve settled in brilliantly and are enjoying every moment of bringing Bonnie & Clyde to life 👀

👠 Jamie Lives On! 👠

A HUGE congratulations to our incredible cast, team and crew as we were awarded Joint Best Youth Musical in District 3 at today’s NODA Awards! 🏆✨

What an absolute joy Everybody’s Talking About Jamie was to produce and perform. From the first rehearsal to the final strut, this show had heart, humour and a whole lot of heels 💖

And to top it off, Preston was awarded Best Individual Youth Performance for his portrayal of the iconic Jamie New. 🌟 We are unbelievably proud of you, Preston, and so grateful to have had you in our company.👏

Congratulations also to .theatre , who shared the award with their production of Fame the Musical. Nottingham is blessed with an abundance of young talent, and we are proud to stand alongside such fantastic companies. Adult groups, consider yourselves warned… these young performers are coming for you!

Next up… Liam & Robert 💥

Liam takes on the role of Bud, alongside several other cameo appearances, and is also stepping into the role of Vocal Captain. Having been part of NAT for a number of years, we’re incredibly proud of the progress he’s made over the last year and look forward to seeing him take on even more responsibility as we head towards show week.

Robert brings to life Frank Hamer and several other characters throughout the show. Although new to the group, he’s already made quite the impression and is guaranteed to keep both cast and audiences entertained with his larger-than-life character work and impeccable comic timing.

Between them, they’ll be popping up throughout the show in plenty of memorable moments 👀
