A huge and heartfelt thank you to the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Association (CWCA) for its incredibly generous £200 donation to CorgiFest! 🧡🐾

The CWCA holds a very special place within our breed community as the only club in the UK devoted solely to the interests of the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Alongside the many regional dual-breed clubs supporting both Cardigans and Pembrokes, it plays a vital role in protecting, celebrating and promoting this wonderful breed.

It's donation will help CorgiFest continue showcasing the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, not only as one of our vulnerable native British breeds, but also as the wonderfully versatile dog we all know and love. From the show ring and dog sports to countryside adventures and life as a much-loved family companion. 🐾

This support feels even more special during the CWCA’s centenary year. The Club is celebrating an incredible 100 years in 2026, culminating in its Centenary Show at the end of September. What a remarkable milestone and a testament to the generations of people who have worked so hard for the breed ❣️

CorgiFest is proud to work closely with all the breed clubs to celebrate and promote both Welsh Corgi breeds. We simply could not do what we do without their support or without the many people who generously give their time, knowledge and resources back to our breeds.

We’re thrilled to welcome our brilliant butcher & chef duo: Ben Tindale and his amazing helper (and mum!) Sarah Tindale 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

If you can't find me... I’ll be in the kitchen sneaking bites of the magic they’re cooking up 😋🍴

They'll be sizzling up their amazing breakfast butties from 8am - 10am and then for lunch we'll be able to have their mouth watering pork rolls, with all the trimmings 😋. Of course their speciality Sausage rolls will be available all day, plus vegetarian and vegan options.

"Ben is the Butchery Manager for G. Shearer & Son Butchers, South Lincolnshire. Renowned for his value-added products within the industry, Ben is passionate about promoting butchery to the wider public and inspiring future generations of butchers.

As well as being the Captain of Team GB at the World Butcher’s Challenge and current Reserve World Butcher Wars Champion, Ben is a trained chef who most recently has catered for numerous outdoor events with the butchery."

We are excited to announce that we are hoping to live stream both the PAYWCA Open Show and our lunchtime talk on hip dysplasia in dogs by Gordon Maclellan, through our page.

So if you're one of our followers that for one reason or another just can't make it on the day or you live abroad, you too can share in the action.

Due to take place, 6th September, the Open Show is scheduled to start at 9am and our talk is scheduled in the lunch break, somewhere between approx 12.30pm & 2.00pm BST please keep an eye on this page for on the day updates and we'll keep you posted.

At the end of the talk there will be a short Q&A slot so why not post your questions on the live feed and see if you're one of the lucky ones to get it answered 😁
