Hey everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic weekend 😊 I mentioned there'd be a fun & spooky update for you this weekend & here it is! THE PUMPKIN! 🎃 With it's wider grip again, it's very comfortable to hold & it gave me another chance to match my Hook & Project! Hey all & Welcome to another WIP Wednesday with CosyHooks!
I promised everyone we'd be showing you something new & so here's a little glimpse into what we've been working on recently... Testing out our new method for interchangeable resin handles! 😍
At the moment, as you know, all of our Resin CosyHooks are supplied pre fitted/bonded with a hook in your choice of size – Most of us find we have a hook size we favour, so that's good for a lot of people, however we also wanted to do something to accommodate those of you who are constantly changing up what you're working on, from amigurumi, to blankets, to clothing. For you, we've been working on making some of our firmer designs interchangeable, whilst allowing you to keep using the same handle!
Don't forget, this new method only applies to our firmer handles, it's not needed for the silicone range, which I'll be telling you more about very soon.

Happy Weekend everyone, I hope all are well! Just wanted to give a quick update that the first CosyHooks 'Showcase video' is up on YouTube! - Annoyingly, I still have yet to find how to photograph the shimmer effect, but it's not bad for a first attempt.

Hey Everyone; hope you're all looking forward to the Weekend – Good to see that the Sun's come out over here at least 😊– Let's hope it stays that way for us for a few days! If you saw my post yesterday; you'll know I mentioned about sharing a pic of CosyKitten Barry in the Sherlock hat... Well; I took a look & I figured we'd have a 'Fur Friend Friday' post of him instead, featuring him styling out both the Sherlock hat & the Gonk hat I was working on last Christmas. Also, a bonus pic of a crocheted Barry Gonk, complete with his own hat! - Barry seemed kinda impressed at least! I think if I did this again, I'd leave the nose off because it covers his sweet little smudge!

Again, these would have worked so much faster with one of the CosyHooks - I might have to time myself doing one this year!

Woo Hoo – Another is upon us & I thought I'd show you a bit more of my first big project the fabulous 'Detective Ed Bones', pattern by Lena's Hobby
I totally had no idea what to expect at the time, having only been crocheting for a couple of months when I thought this would be a good idea 🤣 Whyyy?... Luckily, the pattern was really easy to follow for a newbie. If I recall correctly, it did still end up taking me 6-10 months to complete!
At this point in my crochet journey, I didn't realise how important gauge was, so I don't think this Detective was supposed to be so massive! My dad loved his personalised version of the design though, I added a moustache & a full head of hair to Lenas design, even though the hat covers most of that work... Tbh, it probably wouldn't have taken so long, had I had one of our at the time! They came later. 😉
I'll put up a photo of CosyKitten Thor sporting the hat, because is it even a complete hat if you haven't tried it on your furry friend? 😂

Hey everyone; sorry for my absence for the past few! I've been dealing with a pain flare due to the temperature changes here, not good!
Though I managed to get most of Etsy sorted over the weekend, I couldn't even cope with crochet yesterday! 😫
Today, I've just got out in the garden with the CosyKittens whilst my meds kicked in & This Afternoons plan is to get some videos so everyone can see these hooks in their full glory! The little studio's set up & good to go, so wish me luck – I've not really done videos before. Luckily Mr. CosyHooks knows all about that side of things, so this shall be a learning experience for me! I'm really looking forward to showing everyone exactly how these hooks look 360 & hopefully getting some better photos of the sparkle effect on the Unicorn Horn! The pictures we have at the moment really don't show off these colours & give them the justice they deserve!

More listings will be added shortly, but for now, both the resin & silicone versions of the Lime, the Resin Wand & the Resin Unicorn Horn are now available for sale! For the time being, we can only offer the resin versions of our fantasy range, but we are always trying new things, so stay tuned! More squidgy offerings will be going up within the week, & you might also find something a little spooky is on the horizon... It's just been tested with my latest larger project & I'm sure others are going to love it as much as I do!

Also wanted to add: There will of course be a few extra goodies included for my first 10 buyers, just to say thankyou & show my appreciation! 😻 🧶 🥰

Hey everyone, hope you're all having a fantastic week 😀

The weekend's almost upon us & we find ourselves on another ! This time, showing what the 'Unicorn Horn' allowed me to create – The dips in the horn were placed perfectly to allow my fingertips to just rest in them, the smaller, resin design was really lightweight & the ridges, much like the bumps on the wand, allowed a flick of the thumb to twist the hook, as opposed to moving the whole wrist. It was the first time I'd been able to use such a small hook (2.5mm), which was a fantastic feeling, having always admired others smaller, more detailed pieces & for the first time was able to have a go myself! This pewter coloured yarn had been sat in the stash for a while & a cuff seemed the perfect project for it!
