DIODE Electronic Music Festival

So today would have been Diode 3. It's a shame it couldn't happen this year. There were several compounding reasons why it didn't.

However, having delivered 2 events under the Diode banner, I'm sure 3 will happen at some point. There seems to be an appetite for it amongst both artists and audience which is absolutely fantastic.

When things are challenging, it's easy so say 'f**k it' and give up, but the thing to do is look to creative ways of carrying on.

As with every event in the current world, everything has to stack up commercially. Artists need to be paid, and tickets have to be priced attractively.

I think we need to think creatively about where to hold the event that can fit in financially. The Bonington is a fantastic place with great facilities, but it's costly. I think we can bring a quality show to other interesting spaces so all ideas could be concidered.

The line up is always a vital element, so the question for all Diodians (new name for those who've attended 1+2) is who would you like to see on the line up? (Please be realistic)
And where do you think might be a good venue?

The organisers of DIODE 3 regret to announce that due to some insurmountable issues beyond our control, DIODE 3 has had to be cancelled.
For those people who bought tickets, refunds will be available from the Bonington Theatre Box Office.
Thanks to everyone who supported the first 2 DIODE events. If a third is possible in 2027, we’ll let you know.

Well time is ticking on. Diode 3 is 13 weeks today!!!

As with all events, Diode relies on the numbers stacking up. D1+D2 have both attracted an audience on the day of around 100 people, which is fantastic!!

We really need to have the same this year in order for the event to take place.

One key factor in this for the organising team is having some early surety of of numbers. If we know there will be sufficient tickets sales to cover all the associated costs, of which there are many (Venue hire, Artist fees, travel, accommodation etc.) we can proceed with confidence and avoid the stressful discussion with 5 weeks to go whether to go ahead or not.

If you are planning to attend, it would be really helpful to get your ticket(s) as early as possible which will give us some surety and peace of mind.

The artists are busy with preparation for what will be another fantastic day of music. It would be a real shame if their hard work didn't come to fruition.

Tickets for Diode 3 electronic music festival on 6th June are now on sale from the venue, The Bonington Theatre in Nottingham. This all day electronic music extravaganza features an all UK line-up, including a foyer act. The Bonington Theatre sell tickets for those attending in person. If you are unable to attend in person then please visit the AD Music website to purchase a VIRTUAL TICKET, (audio from all 5 concerts) supplied as MP3, Flac or Apple Lossless files in download format or on USB drive (there is a small extra charge for the USB files option to cover postage).

Now in its third year, the best of UK and European Electronic Music comes to the Bonington once again for Diode Electronic Music Festival

I attended the 2nd Diode festival last weekend and once again you put on a great show even if the lineup wasn't the one you originally planned. But Perge stepped in at the last minute and gave a great performance. I totally enjoyed all the lineup with Infinity Curve, Ian Boddy, Perge and your band Code Indigo. A J
