We are excited to be back at Primary. This will be our first event after over 2 years of lockdown during which we ran 6 online events.

All our shows are devised by artists to explore new ways of showing film and moving image related work, to be shared by an audience who enjoy the unexpected and the surprise of discovery.

Fleshmeet features work by:
Ben Wigley, Freddy Griffiths, Mollie Jo Boyd, Pete Ellis, Frank Abbott, Chloe Willis, Bradley Dobb, Jo Wheeler, Donovan Pennant, Andrea Jaeger, Nicola Carter, Roger Suckling, Jim Brouwer, Thorn Greensides.

A fantastic kaleidoscope of a Friday night with film, video and installations, back in and outside the great Primary building and conversation with the artists.

WE’RE BACK.
*CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS *

FLESHMEET: An in-person meeting, particularly between people whose regular communication is exclusively or primarily online.

We are excited to be back in the building at Primary on Friday 6th May.

This is a CALL OUT for you to submit and show whatever you want! The only thing we expect is that you are there on the evening to present your work. You are part of the event, so submit your work and come and enjoy the show.

We are highly encouraging performance, installation and experimental film works of all variety to make the most of this unique space. All formats are welcome.

There will be a chance to show work on a single screen or set up installations or to perform throughout the building and even outside.

Submit your work and your ideas to us by email, at [email protected] with FLESHMEET as the subject. Include details, title, duration, how the work is to be shown and any equipment needed. (We can supply some equipment but you might need to bring your own.) Contact us if you have any questions.

Deadline for submissions: FRIDAY 29 APRIL 2022.
