How many reggae cliches can I cram into 30 seconds?!

“Why is he talking like that?!” — it’s all in the spirit of classic reggae posters and promotions. Inspired by the 1950-60s USA radio stations picked up on the airwaves, Jamaican disc jockeys developed their own rhymes, slang and stock phrases. These developed further as soundsystem deejays would “toast” over the live session. By the 1980s Sassafrass, the legendary poster designer, had refined the art and he would put his messages together like this:
