Originally, we’d planned to gig outside today...thank God we changed our minds and opted to go inside tomorrow instead otherwise we’d have been blown away or rained off.
So...we’re making preparations for tomorrow’s live stream gig. And if you saw our previous one you know we don’t plan on a laid back affair...it’s all or nothing! It’s a party and you’re all invited! Share it with your friends and get a tipple or 2 ready. Get your dancing shoes on (or slippers, whichever you prefer) and join us tomorrow night at 7pm.

This is a very uncertain time for all of us…and yet another big hurdle for the pub/club, hospitality and entertainment industries to face. Whenever there is a downturn in the economy it’s always our industries that are hardest hit. But this lockdown appears to have taught people the value of a community and people are itching to get back to personal contact in a social environment, especially those with little family, and those who lived for the weekend to interact with others, to sing, to dance their troubles away. We all need to work together and help each other to save the Great British institution of pubs and clubs. It’s a difficult new world we face and although our industries are not classed as “essential” to survive, they are what communities need to feel alive. There’s a saying that you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. And while this is a terrible period for our industries, the positive spin is that it might just be the boost we needed to bounce back and punters really appreciate what we all provide. Stay safe…stay in touch, and we’ll see you on the other side.

Ok, seeing as we’re not gigging this weekend (or any time in the near future). We’ve decided that our gig on Saturday is going ahead. We still need to sort out the details but we will be performing live on Facebook Live tomorrow,
And look it at this way...the bar is cheaper, you can wear your pyjamas, and you don’t have to suffer bingo!!!
The band plays on!!!!
