The Loft Movie Theatre and Porlock Press are proud to present a one-night special screening of Alex Cox’s Repo Man (1984). Harry Dean Stanton and Emilio Estevez star in this atom-age sci-fi conspiracy road movie romp that keeps on giving.

This screening is also a 10th anniversary celebration for The Loft Movie Theatre! A decade ago, we held our very first event with our friends at Porlock Press: a sold-out joint screening of Repo Man in Screen 4 at the Savoy. This time, we get to see Repo Man in all its glory on Screen 1 - and we hope you’ll join us!

Massive thanks to everyone who joined us for our matinee screening of Saturday Night and Sunday Morning. Such a wonderful film, a cornerstone of Nottingham’s cinematic history, and an absolutely lovely audience to share it with. We always love putting on our Loft Movie Theatre screenings, but this one felt extra special!... Shall we do it again next year?? 😊

As always, thank you to the lovely folk at Savoy Nottingham for being great hosts, and congratulations to our quiz winner, who took home a bagful of prizes. A special mention to Gav Jennings for bringing in an original Portuguese Saturday Night and Sunday Morning poster for us to look at!

We'll be back with Dan - our good friend from Porlock Press - on Monday 28 September for a very special one-night screening of the '80s cult classic Repo Man. Yesterday we had an epic trek around Nottingham putting up posters for our screening of Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (1960) at Savoy Nottingham.
