Half term I nearly upon us and I wanted to let you know about my weekly Embroidery Club & the next design for the next block.

We will be embroidering snowmen, which will make a festive decoration to keep for the years ahead.

As with every Embroidery club design there are different versions for different ages & skill levels.

There are spaces on the Tuesday after school session - a great option for Duke of Edinburgh skills requirement!

And the new session for kids out of mainstream school, carefully designed to be SEND friendly, with a calm accessible venue.

MIA on the grid whilst I’ve had little energy - but still stitching! Shout out to for her book of needlepoint stitches - helped me experiment with using more than just tent stitch! Stitched using crewel wools I used here.

STITCH BY STITCH EMBROIDERY CLASS

BAYEUX STITCH

6th OCTOBER 10:30 -12:00
At Bubble & Bean

With the Embroidery in the headlines and the importance of stitched heritage being shown - we will be learning Bayeux Stitch (aka laid work) in October’s Stitch By Stitch class.

We will use heritage crewel wools (my favourite), to play with the main stitch used the the amazing 900 year old tapestry.

And yes the class is totally suitable for beginners too!
