I am honoured that my female grey seal sculpture 'Wistful', has been shortlisted for the Holt Art Projects Mannington Nature Award 2026.

Thankyou to the judging panel and the Ellis family, (owners of Mannington Hall.)

The Mannington Nature Award celebrates artistic responses to landscape and the natural world and is a new award sponsored by the Ellis Family reflecting their passion for landscape and the environment.

All the amazing variety of shortlisted works for The Holt Art Projects Awards 2026 can be viewed by visiting the exhibitions held at:

Allen Hall Gallery, Glandford (Benjamin Hall Photography Award);

Plastic Culture, Glandford (Helen Herbert Portrait Award, Charlotte Fraser Ceramic & Glass Award and Part 1 of The Mannington Nature Award);

St Andrew the Apostle Church, Holt, (Part 2 of The Mannington Nature Award, Sir John Hurt Award)

From 20th July - 1st August 2026 11am - 5pm.

I am also delighted that my sculpture will then be part of the exhibition of 'The Mannington Nature Awards shortlisted works' which will move to Mannington Hall from the beginning of August. The exhibition will continue there until the 13th September.

Join us for drinks at Sanders and Christy gallery in Sheringham on Saturday 18th July from 12 til 6 pm for the opening day of our Summer Exhibition.
I will be there for the afternoon along with some of the wonderful other artists.
We look forward to seeing you. The exhibition runs all Summer with new work added regularly.

I am so pleased that my mini master has been chosen to feature in the Wild Life Artist of the Year Catalogue 2025. My mini master incorporated my notes and sketches to create the sculpture 'Awakening'. I was delighted to hear that it has sold at the Mall Galleries and the proceeds will support wildlife conservation.

Finally, after being in progress for a year whilst juggling with other projects, this bronze resin portrait is complete. A simple black metal base contrasts beautifully with the soft folds of the fabric of the shirt. I am very happy with the thoughtful expression of this piece.
