🎭 AUDITION CALL – FEMALE PRESENTING ACTOR WANTED🎭
We’re casting for a two-week R&D process of N**e, the debut production from Theatre Bacchanalia — a bold, intimate one-woman play written by Phoebe Segal, exploring art, sexuality, shame, and the male gaze through the framing of a life drawing class (no nudity required).
🗓 Rehearsals: Weekdays 15–24 September 2025 (full-time, Norwich)
🎥 Industry sharing and promotional filming: 25-26 September at Norwich Theatre’s Stage Two
💰 Paid role – 2 weeks at least Equity minimum + travel expenses
We’re looking for a female or non-binary performer with strong storytelling instincts, emotional nuance, and the ability to hold a space solo. Playing age ~20-25. The role is confessional, funny, and provocative — you’ll need to be confident delivering direct address and working closely with the creative team.
The R&D will be co-directed by Merlyn Haycraft and Phoebe Segal.
