Located within the iconic Grade I listed Guildhall, Bistro Britannia is the city centre sister of Cafe Britannia. Our slogan "Taste Rules", symbolises our delicious freshly cooked meals. Our Events are fast becoming the go to place for evening entertainment with a touch of class and ambience. As a social enterprise, we strive to not only put our profits back into community projects but we actively
source a large proportion of our products from local Norfolk suppliers . We are open 6 days a week offering an amazing city-centre breakfast for just £4.95 plus delicious lunches, afternoon tea and cake. Our events come with individual set menus design by our gourmet chef to keep to your stomach satisfied while you are entertained... from music and comedy shows through to paranormal and ghost stories. Please come and pay us a visit, we are a truly unique destination. And if you are around for the day, our array of beautiful cakes, speciality scones, and sausage rolls has put everything Britannia on the map and also made us a destination for afternoon tea. The cafe is staffed by both the local community and category D low risk prisoners, many of whom have limited catering experience but all have volunteered to learn new skills, improve their lives and make a fresh start. The team all work incredibly hard to make the project a success and their commitment has shown. Just as Cafe Britannia has fast become one of the busiest cafes/restaurants in Norwich, so too is Bistro Britannia and it's Events
All profits generated from the cafe are donated to community projects, including customer tips which are donated to Victim Support. To date, over £2,000 in tips have been donated to Victim Support.
