Introducing MEADOWLIGHT.

I was so excited to visit D&F Luxury Flower Shop & Bespoke Wedding Design Studio on Saturday- my host window for this years Harborough Artists Cluster Art Windows. Once I’d seen the window I decided to produce a brand new bespoke piece inspired by the shop, its beautiful colours and atmosphere. I spent all weekend on this piece and am delighted with how it’s turned out. I’ve attached some of the images I took on my visit, later used for reference when working on the piece.

You will be able to see MEADOWLIGHT proudly sitting in the D&F Luxury Flower Shop & Bespoke Wedding Design Studio window after 1st September.

All the frames arrived yesterday so spent a happy evening on the finishing touches for these paintings ready for September. Which is your favourite?

A slightly different look for this one and it took a while to get it right. Still a vibrant sky, still with acrylic, dry brush and finished with gold leaf and a focus on bold colour with no foreground detail. The colours are deliberately exaggerated- the closer the look the more you will find.
