The next piece I worked on 2was this baby yoda. It’s the first of three that I will doing. This was the smallest in A5 sketch pad. It was a lot more difficult than I thought bite as going to be as the detail on it is hard to see until you’re reallly paying attention. This took several weeks to complete with starting before Christmas and all but was very happy with overall outcome

So taking you back to the end of last October, things when I started my journey to rediscovery. This was the first thing I drew in 14 years. I know it’s horrific but I was trying to retrain my eye with something simple. So I chose the iconic star wars logo. You will come to learn I’m a bit of a star wars nerd.
Started with straight line free hand attempts and followed that with ballpoint pen crosshatch techniques. Not a bad start….onwards and upwards

Hello all, my name is Steven and I am going out of my comfort zone and putting my art out there to hopefully in time do commissions.
I started drawing again after 14 years and forgot how much I enjoyed it. Not having deadlines to meet and just enjoying art has made me appreciate it more.
So much so that the feedback I got from my friends on my private Instagram and Facebook accounts made me want to try this and get myself out there.
So I’ll hopefully be posting here daily and you can see the improvement since I started again last October.
So come with me on this journey and hopefully I’ll look forward to interacting with some of you in the future
