Why Join Band Camp?

Our Band Camp is designed to inspire young musicians of all abilities in a welcoming, supportive and inclusive environment.

Our aims:

🎵 Have fun playing music!
🎵 Provide a high-quality course free of charge
🎵 Welcome all brass and percussion players
🎵 Support players of all abilities and backgrounds
🎵 Build confidence, friendships and community spirit
🎵 Keep young musicians playing throughout the summer break
🎵 Offer an exciting opportunity to develop skills through intensive group music-making
🎵 Introduce players to further opportunities such as the Scottish Borders Brass Band Association Workshops and the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland

Wonderful audience at both Halyrude Primary School and West Linton Primary- Parents of West Linton Primary School with a fantastic contribution to StreetMash Band from Edinburgh College Music & Sound Production by pupils in P4-6 across both schools. Each schools enjoyed performances from flute group, wind band, trad group, string ensemble as well the street band. Pupils enjoyed dancing a ceilidh to the conga! 🎶🎺📢🎸🎻🎹🎷🥁🪘🎵
