We are so excited & beyond lucky to have the incomparable Danny O’Neill on board with us again for this special project!! Danny is more than just an MD, his talent & dedication has no bounds 🤩
Danny is a Warrenpoint-based musical director, pianist, and producer whose work spans live performance, vocal collaboration, and broadcasting.
As a BBC radio producer, Danny creates programming across networks including BBC Radio 1, 2, 3, 4, Radio Ulster, and Radio Scotland—ranging from feature-led documentaries to live Radio 3 outside broadcasts. Before focusing full-time on broadcasting, he spent twenty years working as a music service accompanist for the Education Authority.
An established figure on the Northern Irish music scene, Danny is regularly involved in theatrical productions and chamber concerts, frequently collaborating with artists like baritone Karl McGuckin, classical vocal group The Priests, and organizations such as Newry Chamber Music. His wider professional background includes working as a Roland artist, recording with Sony BMG, and performing alongside ensembles including the Ulster Orchestra and the Irish Film Orchestra.
