I’m going to have to put this one to one side for a bit, too many problems with it and not enough solutions! I’m sure if I have a break from her and come back it’ll fall into place - it’s always the drawings you think will be simple that turn out to test you!

Progress!

The whiskers are starting to stand out, but I need to start adding in the background- suggestions welcome! Current top pick is a grassy green colour, but I haven’t ruled out sky blue.

This one will be entirely coloured pencils- sorry PanPastel, your turn next time! (Maybe)

Whiskers. Always a tricky but essential part of any drawing. I usually add them in first with a very sharp white pencil, but as I’m working on watercolour paper, I thought I’d try indenting the whiskers using a blunted dart!

Let’s see if it works!

Finally got my new drawing set up sorted, so managed a bit more work on this lovely lady tigress Terima!

My set up still needs a few tweaks - I haven’t got anywhere to put my cuppa! 🍵 😆 I feel yet another trip to the big blue and yellow shop coming on!
