Would you, or someone you know, be fabulous at taking over Stay n Play?

I created this group 4 summers ago, after struggling to find somewhere my boys could play together, safely and judgement free. I never could have anticipated the lovely little community we have built together.

Unfortunately I’m not going to be able to continue to run the group next summer, so am hoping someone out there would like to take the lead?

We have always kept it simple so doesn’t involve a huge amount of work, just putting out the toys, making the drinks and tidying/locking up afterwards. But the group will be yours to make changes wherever you want.

All of the toys, current bookings etc will all be handed over and I’m happy to join October or Feb half terms for a handover session.

Should we not be able to find someone to take over in the next few weeks, the toys will be donated to other local groups supported by Roddam (who have supported us) and local charities - Hopefully we can find someone and keep our little community going 🩷

Our fourth summer is over already - it’s gone sooooo fast!
Thankyou to our amazing volunteers, door guarding-coffee making-tidy uppers!
Thankyou to everyone who has donated towards a play session, refreshments and new toys.
And of course a HUGE thankyou to everyone who’s been a part of our little community, sharing posts, supporting each other and creating a space where the kids (and grown ups) can just be themselves 🩷🩷

🧡Tomorrow is our last play session of summer!
🍓Crazy how 6 weeks has flown by, but also felt like years at the same time!
🚗 We’ve loved seeing all our friends old and new and looking forward to a last fabulous stay n play!

❤️If you’re looking for somewhere local, inclusive, laid back and safe, for children with additional needs, their siblings, families and carers to play, have fun and socialise- then COME JOIN US!

🧡We have toys, books, puzzles, stimmy toys, arts and crafts, ball pit, bean bags, climbing bits and lots of room to play and explore. (There’s plenty of coffee and snacks too)

Who’s ready for Tuesday FUNDAY!

🚗 We have so much to keep everyone entertained! Toys, cars and mats, sensory toys, climbing set, ball pit, book corner, crafty corner, games and puzzles!

🧁 Free snacks and drinks for everyone, or feel free to bring your own (no nuts please)

🧋£3 for the first child, £1 siblings and grown ups are free!

Parking available on New street or a short walk away in town, blue badge parking available, wheelchair accessible and changing area + disabled toilet

A safe space for children with additional needs or disabilities and their families to play and socialise!
