That's a 4B lead I'm using, the darkest you can get for a 0.5mm automatic pencil. The straight edge is homemade. I use the parallel lines to try to keep everything nice and square

I have filmed myself drawing this with the time-lapse setting on my phone. I now have just over 3hrs of footage representing the nearly 50hrs spent doing this drawing (I had to chuck a couple of bits as they were out of focus). I'm putting it together and will release it into the wild soon....
