Yesterday Martin the Magician from Seaton Delaval and myself were at the Bravehearts of the North East Awards.
Truly inspirational children with their families being treated to an afternoon of treats.
See if you can catch me on this clip - I'm on twice but don’t blink!!

The job I look forward to every year is the Bravehearts of the North East Awards at St James' Park
The children and their families have been through so much and they take it all in their stride.
If you have eagle eyes you may spot me in my yellow waistcoat in the background on this video!

Yesterday I was at one of my most favourite jobs of the year. The Bravehearts of the North East Awards is always so emotional - seeing children getting their badge and gift for being so brave. Their parents are so grateful for the care they have received while being treated for cancer, leukaemia and other life-changing ailments.
I was there with and to make them laugh and smile.
