I'm so excited for my debut solo Exhibition with in Blyth, what an honour.

A year and a half in the making, my works (many unseen before) are from painting on location at festival grounds all over the North of England, with studio pieces based on my sketches & experiences.

It feels like the crescendo of so much hard work, fun and frustration it's taken to capture the spirit of these rare events - tens of thousands of people abandoning their screens to experience something together.

Please join me at the opening evening, July 17th from 6-8pm

The show will then run 18th July - 15th of August (please check gallery opening times before journeying)

I spent the day painting at Souter Lighthouse on the rugged North East coastline, Tyne and Wear.

This oil painting is a little larger than I usually work on location but once I had the drawing nailed I found the painting process really enjoyable,

Sometimes you have to just stick to your processes and trust your eye when it comes to mix8ng so many similar shades of white and grey.
