Bit of a catch up on life since I last posted. After a wonderful Blackfriars Newcastle I developed a fairly nasty infection which let me tell you has not been fun. It affect my scalp, back, chest, hands, face, ears and eyes. Which has made making anything next to impossible as I haven't been able a) see properly and b) hold my scissors/tools for extended periods of time as it caused a psoriasis flare up. It also meant that I had to have the majority of my hair cut off as it hurt to actually have long hair!!!
So Ian (ihbd) has been the hero of the story (as always) by looking after me and getting me Ice Cream from morwickdairy
But he has also took advantage of my vulnerable state by beating me at Scrabble whilst having pints at Rigg & Furrow.
Things were not getting better and more creams and tablets were given by the Dr.
We had a visit to F&L Brewery Tap and Ken sneaked cuddles of her Dad
Feeling very sad, I itch all over. My hair hurts, my eyes hurt, everything hurts. Was about to either cut my hair off myself ( get everyone concerned even more so that usual) but then a very tearful phone call to a hairdressers I had never been to before was had and she did it for me.
We did create the game of whilst having even more pints at Rigg & Furrow with Mathieu Hallam
We had walks along Hadston Beach with the pups early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds.
Dogs had play fights over toys in the cooler evenings outside the caravan.
Then I attempted to get back to making things with some new beer labels from Sidbie's Brew Co and Ampersand Brew Co but this was sadly short lived
Both and Jeff, Burt and Ken decided they wanted to sit next to me on the bench while out and about. Talk about invasion of personal space.
And the eye infection returneth! Now on my 6th course of antibiotics and 4th lot of eye drops. And a rare full face picture for you all.
But we have been at Free Trade Inn for the last few Wednesdays enjoying Fire & Dough pizzas and pints.
I am now just hoping that I can get somewhere back to normal as I will be (fingers crossed 🤞) at on t
