POV: you’re watching a blank canvas become something you’d actually hang in your home 👀🎨✨

A little glimpse into the messy, exciting and sometimes slightly chaotic process behind my artwork…

Because the finished piece is only the end of the story 🤍

Every layer, colour, detail and little change is part of creating something completely unique.

I’m building my art business one painting at a time — and if you’ve been following along, thank you 🥹🤍

A new little piece of sunshine 🌸✨

Full of wildflowers, colour, texture and a few little buzzing visitors 🐝💐 I wanted this one to feel like stepping into a wild summer meadow — messy, colourful and completely full of life.
I’m so happy with how this one came together. 💗

Building a brand. Building a business. Building something that’s completely mine. 🎨🤍

I don’t think people realise how hard it is to turn your passion into a business. The self-doubt, the slow sales, the constant learning, the social media, the money you put back into your business, and wondering if you’re ever going to get to where you want to be.
But I’m still here.
Still painting.
Still creating.
Still learning.
Still pushing myself to see how far I can take this. 🤍

It might not happen overnight, but I’m proud of how far JessieMayArt has come — and I’m nowhere near finished yet. 🎨✨

This is only the beginning. 🤍

Two years later... I’m back with a paintbrush in hand. 🎨💙

feels so good to be adding to this mural again. There’s been a few changes already—there is a cat that has a new goldfish 🐠, there are even more hidden animals to discover, and there’s still plenty left to paint!

I can’t wait to bring more life, colour, and little surprises to this wall over the next few weeks. Keep your eyes peeled... you never know what might appear next. 🌸🦋🦒

Which hidden animal have you spotted so far? 👀
