Grief — it takes as long as it takes 🥹💙
Today, on National Grief Day, we’re reflecting on the completion of our five-month grief programme, which runs from April to August. This day offers an important opportunity to acknowledge the many different ways grief can affect us, while recognising the courage it takes to seek support, share our experiences and begin to navigate life after loss ✨
Throughout the programme, we came together to create space for connection, reflection and compassion. Over the past five months, we’ve explored what it means to live with grief — making room for difficult emotions, developing a deeper understanding of our experiences, and discovering gentle, practical ways to care for ourselves along the way 💙
We’ve experienced how cold water can help us navigate grief — using breath work@, presence, connection and the experience of moving through discomfort to help us meet those fleeting, difficult moments 🌊
We’ve explored practical tools to support us when grief feels overwhelming, including journaling, self-care, movement, stillness, and perhaps most importantly, giving ourselves permission to simply be where we are 🩵
From the nurturing experience of Temple Spa, to beach yoga, sauna sessions and time spent in nature, we’ve discovered different ways of reconnecting with ourselves, our bodies and each other 🧘♀️🔥🌿
It has reminded us that there is no ‘right’ way to grieve, no set timeline to follow, and no need to rush the process. We carry, we adapt, we remember — and we continue to move forward, one day at a time 🥹
To every person who has joined us over these five months, thank you ❤️
Thank you for showing up….
Thank you for sharing your stories….
Thank you for your openness and honesty…
And thank you for trusting us with your hearts🤍
It has been a privilege to walk alongside you and to share in this journey together 🥰
To all our lovely providers - thank you for your support and making this such a beautiful experience 🥹
Grief ~ takes as long as it takes. And we don’t have to navigate it alone 🌊🤍
Happy National Grief Day 💙
