Our company was built from the ground up through hard work, determination, and a genuine passion for food and events.
When I was around 15 years old, my parents separated and I found myself having to make my own way in life. Having previously been involved in the entertainment and events industry, I tried hard to establish myself within that sector, but success did not come easily. Like many entrepreneurs, I explored different ways of earning a living, from trading at markets and fly-pitching on London’s Leather Lane to running a market stall in Watford High Street for several years. Those experiences taught me invaluable lessons about business, customer service, and perseverance.
Throughout those years, one thing remained constant: my passion for food. I have always appreciated great food, particularly barbecue, and understood that presentation is just as important as taste. Food is about creating an experience, and I knew that was where my future lay.
Over time, I found exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. What started as a personal ambition grew into a family business. While it was never part of a grand plan, I am proud that my children have joined the company and share the same passion and commitment. Today, even their partners work alongside us, helping to deliver the dedication and service our clients expect at events across the country.
My grandchildren are now reaching an age where they are becoming involved too, and it is incredibly rewarding to see their enthusiasm and interest in the business. Watching another generation develop the same passion for the industry gives me confidence that the values we have built the company on will continue long into the future.
Building this business has meant wearing many different hats over the years. From carpentry and welding to designing and building catering outlets from scratch, there has rarely been a challenge I have not had to tackle myself. I have spent countless late nights repairing vehicles and catering equipment, often working until my eyes were sore, standing in mud and water up to my ankles. The events industry is not always glamorous, but through every challenge I never lost my love for what I was doing. In many ways, overcoming those obstacles made the journey even more rewarding.
Today, our experience, infrastructure and network allow us to cater for events of any size, anywhere in the country, at any time. Whether it is a small private gathering, a major festival, a sporting event, or a large-scale public celebration, we have the knowledge, flexibility and dedication to deliver exceptional food and service wherever it is needed.
We may not be the biggest event partner for bars and food concessions, but we believe we offer something equally important: balance. Our goal is to maximise income for event organisers while remaining fair and supportive to the subcontractors and caterers we work with. We believe that long-term success comes from creating value for everyone involved.
Our reputation has been built on quality food, guest satisfaction, strong relationships, and a commitment to doing business the right way. Those principles continue to guide everything we do today.
