I am so thrilled to be welcoming Sue Stichbury of Sue Stichbury to the studio!

The one day workshop coincides with the beautiful exhibition by Curtains to Couture, Small Beginnings, Great Expectations, and The Lost Jackets.

Guided by Sue, we will be stitching Fabric Memory Books whilst gazing on the gorgeous artworks before us in the studio. There will be a generous kit provided by Sue with plenty to get you started, combined with any personal treasures you might like to include, like fabric, ribbon, or ephemera.

Lessons learnt with my first collagraph print ....

I was intending to create texture, but have created too much noise in the background area. Printing can be trial and error, I now know how to make improvements, so will keep you posted. This one won't go to waste, I will add more embroidery.

On Saturday 27th June, I will be returning to Heather's lovely studio at The Fox Studios in Warrington The Fox Studios | Creative Hub in Warrington There is a choice of two workshops, one is the Vintage Stamp & Embroidery workshop, where we will be applying vintage fabric stamps to gorgeous wool panels. Or, if you have stash that needs busting, you can bring your own project for just £15 for the session, which includes threads, tea, coffee, and biscuits! What a bargain!
