// This week I'm thrilled to reveal a personal milestone in my business. I am now part time! It's been a long time in the making and delayed because of the C word but I've finally moved away from full-time working. I worked as a NHS Health Trainer, a job I really loved but increasingly found it was impossible to balance both that and my photography work (and have any time off in the summer!) I'm now a Stop Smoking advisor within the same department which should mean I have waaay more time to focus on all my lovely weddings. I'm investing more time in my passion project and it feels soo right! It's a risky and uncertain time for self employed people everywhere but here's to the future & positivity ✌✌

HUGE NEWS!

It's been weeks, NAE months, in the making but I am finally ready to share my new wedding photography website!!

I find that, like my portfolio, my website is something I am constantly tweaking and changing. However with the fantastic help from Rachael Fraser and her mad Wix skills along with the complete redesign of my branding and logo by the the North East's most amazing graphic designer Meg Parkin - I am the happiest I have EVER been with my website!

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of celebrating the marriage of Zuzia & Brendan in their unique venue of St Chad's College, Durham, Durham.

Their day was filled with nostalgia from their collegiate days where they first met. African music filled the college chapel in the morning, the first dance routine was an actual showstopper that left everyone cheering for more and as the day drew to a close the guests ceilidh danced into the night. Perfect perfect perfect!

Last Saturday, tucked away in a secret garden in Rothbury there was music, vintage cars, laughter, free beer, and so much love.

I feel so incredibly lucky to have been a part of this wedding. It was such a joy to spend the day smiling from ear to ear with all their family and friends celebrating the marriage of Vicky and Jack. Not to mention watching Jack's 97 year old granny dancing with the best of them.

This was a special one.

This was a scorcher! On one of the hottest days of the year so far Jeanette & Frazer didn't hold back on turning the energy levels up and having one hell of a party!
Jeanette (aka Catherine Zita Jones) had a movie star outfit change for the evening celebrations and both dresses had the wow factor. There were tears of emotion, a cake made of cheese and we were even treated to some golden hour sun.
Guys, your day was a joy to photograph and it was great to be back at one of my favourite venues Brinkburn Northumberland Weddings.

Last week I was privileged enough to photograph Nat & Neil's marriage in the Algarve, Portugal. I have woken up pretty much every day since wishing I could relive this day with them. There was sunshine, sangria, friends references, cactus fields, live music and a spontaneous pool party.

Wow, last Saturday's wedding was the stuff of dreams.

Lauren and Andrew celebrated their marriage on the hottest day of the year in sunny Costa del Kelso at Ednam House Hotel.

It was a joy to hang out with them and their amazing friends and family on the banks of the river as the drinks flowed and the sun set behind us.

Lauren and Andrew are the most genuine, laid back couple. I felt like we'd known each other for years and I was just another guest enjoying their happy day.

Last Monday I photographed my first wedding of 2019 and what a way to start the year - talk about setting the bar high.

These high school sweethearts finally tied the knot at Ellingham Hall. Olivia and Matthew's day was full of colour and laughter. I loved their creative details from their homemade flowery photo booth to the hilarious shoe game after dinner. (if you know you know!) How stunning is this dress? Congratulations Livy and Matt!
