💃 WE’RE BACK – OUR AUTUMN TERM STARTS TODAY! 🍂❤️

Tonight we kick off the new Strictly Starters Autumn Term at our new venue in New Hartley – and we can’t wait to get everyone back on the dance floor!

If you’ve been thinking “we’d love to learn to dance one day…”, perhaps now is the time to make that day TODAY!

We still have a few places available in our three New to Dancing classes:

These classes are designed for complete beginners – so no previous experience, no special shoes and no need to worry about having two left feet! 😊 See the video clip for how one couple enjoyed our Pop Up taster class in August.

The summer is nearly over and the Strictly Starters Autumn Term starts NEXT WEEK!

From Tuesday 8th September, we’ll be welcoming couples back onto the dance floor across Northumberland & North Tyneside and we’re really looking forward to seeing everyone again.

We have more choice of venues, classes and timings than ever before, including Ballroom & Latin classes at different levels plus our popular Sequence Dance sessions.

🎉 TODAY STRICTLY STARTERS IS 10 YEARS OLD! 🎉

Exactly ten years ago today, we started our very first Strictly Starters classes.

We could never have imagined then quite where the journey would take us.

Over the past decade, hundreds of couples have danced with us – some complete beginners, some returning to dancing after many years, and many who have stayed with us and become familiar faces and good friends.

Along the way, Strictly Starters became much more than a collection of dance classes.

❤️ It became a dancing community.

A community built around learning together, laughing together, making new friends and enjoying a different night out together.

So on our 10th birthday, we simply want to say a huge THANK YOU to every couple who has ever danced with us, every teacher who has been part of the journey, and everyone who has supported and recommended Strictly Starters over the years.

You have all helped make Strictly Starters what it is today.

And now we begin Year 11 with more venues, more teachers, more classes and plenty more dancing still to come!

Our first New to Dancing Pop-Up is TOMORROW in New Hartley, with Ashington and Rothbury following next week.

These sessions are specifically for couples who have little or no dance experience.

You don’t need to know any steps.

You don’t need special shoes.

And you definitely don’t need to worry about having “two left feet”!

Just come along together, enjoy a warm welcome, learn some simple dance steps and, most importantly, have a good time together.
