Join us next Saturday at Stannington Village Hall for our Strictly Starters Social Practice Night.

Whether you’ve been dancing for a few weeks or a few years, our Social Practice Nights are all about having fun, building confidence and enjoying a relaxed evening with friends.

💃 What a great evening at Longframlington! 🕺

Last night we extended our regular class with an additional 30-minute Sequence Dance session, and we’re delighted to report that it was very well received by our dancers.

For many of our couples, Sequence Dancing was something completely new. By the end of the session there were plenty of smiles, lots of laughter and some surprisingly good dancing too!

One of the things we love most at Strictly Starters is seeing couples grow in confidence week by week. It’s not about being perfect – it’s about learning together, enjoying each other’s company and having fun along the way.

A big thank you to all our Longframlington couples for embracing something new and making the first Sequence session such a success.

And remember, if you’ve been thinking about joining one of our classes, it’s never too late to start.

We’re delighted that our Longframlington dance class has now reached Week 3, and this week we’re taking our next exciting step by introducing an additional 30-minute Sequence Dance session after the regular class.

Many people have heard of Ballroom and Latin dancing, but Sequence Dancing is one of the UK’s most sociable and enjoyable forms of dancing. Everyone dances the same routine together, making it easy to learn, great fun and a wonderful way to build confidence on the dance floor.

💃 No previous dance experience needed
🕺 Friendly and supportive atmosphere
💕 A great activity to enjoy together
😁 Plenty of laughs along the way

Meanwhile, all of our other Strictly Starters classes continue as normal across Northumberland, helping couples discover the joy of dancing together.

If you’ve been thinking about giving dancing a try, it’s not too late to join us.

Our friendly beginner dance classes are now running in Alnmouth and Longframlington.

You don’t need to come as a “dance couple” — many people simply come along with:
• a friend
• neighbour
• sister
• partner
• or someone they know locally

The classes are very relaxed, very beginner-friendly, and really just about enjoying yourselves, meeting people, and having a laugh along the way 💃🕺

Only a few days now until our new classes begin in Alnmouth and Longframlington 💃🕺

We’ve been really encouraged by the interest so far, especially from people saying they’ve simply been looking for something sociable and a bit different to do locally.

The classes are relaxed, friendly, and very beginner-friendly — no pressure and no experience needed at all 😊
