Had such a brilliant afternoon here today!
We never stopped dancing once the music came on.

Looking forward to this on Saturday…

Our first event to celebrate the Hall's 70th Birthday Anniversary is coming up fast! It's a milestone for the Hall - 70 years since the foundation stone was laid in July 1956 - how life has changed since then!

We're holding a 1950s themed Afternoon Tea Dance at the Hall on Saturday 18th July 2026, starting at 2pm. The music will be by the wonderful local singer Rachel Mercer.

Open to all ages and dance abilities, please come along and enjoy an afternoon of wonderful songs, have a dance (not obligatory!) and afternoon tea will be available.

Dress up in your 1950s style, and there will be a prize for the best themed outfit too!

Tickets are still available from Anne (see phone numbers on the poster) or pop in and see her at the Hall on Wednesdays from 12noon until 3pm and 6.30-8.30pm or Fridays between 12.30-2pm. (Cash or card payments accepted - sorry, card in person only, not over the phone.)
