Thank you to all friends of the Beginners' Class who attended the end of session social dance last evening (Tues 25th April, 2017). It was super to welcome such a good number and I hope everyone enjoyed the evening. Thank you, also, to all friends who helped with the class each week and supported and encouraged the beginners. This is always much appreciated and a great help. Thank you, too, to the branch for the generous gift. The Beginners' Class is now finished until next January but I hope everyone will enjoy attending Elizabeth's summer class which begins 9th May, 2017. It has been a joy watching everyone learn and improve. Thank you, all. Heather Lockhart

The Montrose Beginners' Class continues to meet on Tuesdays at 7.30 p.m. in the large hall within the Old & St Andrews Church hall buildings. The next meeting is on Tues 28th March. PLEASE NOTE that there is no meeting on the 4th April. The class continues the following week until 25th April when we will have a mock " dance" to which all our faithful experienced dancing friends are invited.

The Beginners’/Improvers’ class begins in Montrose in the new Year: Tuesday, January 10th, 7.30 p.m. in The Old & St Andrews Church Hall (the main hall). Please spread the word.
The class is run for “beginners” but is also suitable for non-beginners who want to boost their confidence, improve or experiment with their technique and formations or just have some fun while making friends, exercising and enjoying the music.
Music, teamwork and fun should be the order of the day.
Please encourage others to experience the joy that can be had from Scottish Country Dancing

Beginner Class, Summer Improver Class and dance all done, but!

MSCDC Monday and Wednesday dancing are soon starting! Monday at 2pm and Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Old and St Andrews Church Hall, Montrose. Come on along! Starting 12th and 14th September. Be there!

We had a great evening dancing to celebrate the end of the Summer Class. A big attendance made it easy for the summer students to integrate into the sets and dance well and confidently. Johnny Duncan's playing raised the heels off the floor and everyone had a great night.
