Apologies for being away for a wee while. It's all been kicking off around Monifieth music. Culdee Sessions have been going great! Different every time, but always a great selection of songs and performers, magic moments and impromptu collaborations. Thank you to everyone who has been contributing to these events.
Lots of activity out and about too. Some of our collective members have been busy writing songs, trying them out in live situations, and even getting them recorded and released. Lots more in the pipeline too. We'll have a special post soon, showcasing some of the great music happening around here.
With festival season coming up fast, some of our brave performers will be taking the stage at festivals across the country, and of course, at the sun-soaked Monifieth Gala.
Today's also a great day for The Hopemen (Paolo and Cammy) as we release the final version of The White And The Blue to the wider public. It'll be popping up on all the major streaming platforms in the next few weeks. Delighted that it features the incredible Laura Mcghee on fiddle, and other Culdee Session players Kenny Mathers and Fergus Cook on backing vocals and bodhran.
