As a realism artist and portrait artist I always like to get more and more realistic every time but it’s very restrictive because things need to look how they should but I’ve always liked this style of art and I’ve always wanted to try it and I finally got around to giving it a go and I fu***ng love it, it’s so fu***ng chilling to just do what you want and colour outside the lines for a change

I’m chuffed with the result and I’ll definitely be doing more of these for sure

It was my pleasure to do this memorial portrait for a very lovely lady of her husband Howard

It means a lot to me when I’m asked to do something as important as this and I always get super nervous when I hand it over but the reaction was worth it and it made my day

I had a red and black one, and the batteries came out every night so it would give me a heart attack in the middle of the night 😂

I have always had a lot of respect for pet portrait artists because fur is so hard to draw, for me at least, but I’m happy with how it turned out, every day is a school day and all that

NEON INTERFERENCE

A fun series of 3 paintings I’ve been working on

1. NOSTALGIA/MORTALITY 2025

A bit of a morbid one but I liked the idea of childhood memories and the feeling of missing things from the past and trying to shake off the underlying fear that one day we’re all gonna die, that when we were young without a care in the world, death was always lying just under the surface

2. HOUSEWIFE UNBOUND 2025

My playful take on the idea that even a sweet figure like Marge is a human being with a life behind closed doors, I love the idea that everyone we meet in day to day life has that other side to them, we don’t talk about it but we know we all do it, and we all play along like we’re not a bunch of animals

3. FEMININITY 2025

This one is me painting the fact that women have two parts, the sensual womanly side of who they are and then the external side they show, the one that they have to construct and build, the image of themselves that they feel they have to show the world but underneath that there is always the playful woman

Now on to the next series, if you managed to read all that to the end I appreciate it, hopefully it made sense to you and hopefully you enjoy looking at the paintings

🖤 TIME TRAVELLING Pt.2 🖤

This is where I used to play when I was a kid, I used to wander around this place when I was probably too young, 4 years old, I guess it was a different time back then, I survived either way so it all worked out 😎

The ninja turtle piece is important to me, I took that photo on the very same spot I used to play with my ninja turles all the way back in 1992, back when life was happening to me instead of for me

🖤 TIME TRAVELLING 🖤

I’ve always loved going back to places I haven’t been in years, it’s tough to explain but I get a buzz go through me like I can time travel, it’s like being in two places at the same time for me

I also like to try and change it and add to it if I can

I took my portrait paintings back the alleyway at the back of my Nans old house when I was a kid, in this spot it’s always the 90s for me and it’s always the summer, I spent a lot of time at my Nans when I was little, it was good to go back and connect the two different versions of myself

It was nice to spend time back in the 90s

Also these paintings look cool in this setting 😎
