Absolutely NOT knitting related but …… after the hectic few days at the NE Yarn Show, I headed into Northumberland with the Knitterish Husband and Younger Daughter for a few days R&R. Today we visited South Shields where I lived as a child and headed to Minchella’s on the sea front. Honestly? Best ice cream ever 🤩

As I’m sure everyone here knows, I love a bit of Knitterish in the Wild but this time I actually missed it as I was running my mosaic workshop. Happily the younger Knitterish Daughter took some photographs for me to see and share. Coincidentally, it was the MosaiKAL shawl and I think you’ll agree it was an amazing example 🤩.

I’m squeaking with excitement 😳. I’ve found another local hand dyer just a few miles away and when they had an open day today ….. well, what was a designer to do 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you The Fibre Fox for introducing me to your yarn.

A belated thank you to everyone who visited my stand at The Wool Monty, whether to chat, ‘show and tell’ or to buy. Kate and I had a great weekend meeting you all 🧶❤️🧶
Unlike other shows I resisted yarn purchases but, instead, a couple of craft bags from Stephen and Penelope might have just found their way home with me 😉

A huge thank you to each and every one of you who stopped by my stand to do ‘show and tell’, chat and even buy. It was great to see you all and a lovely introduction to Wonderwool Wales Ltd who, I think you’ll all agree, produced a brilliant show. I even managed to fit in a little purchasing myself and perhaps I’ll have these incorporated into a new pattern for 2027 or 2028 (eek).
