Hey Folks! Saturday is Market Day!

Hey folks! Saturday is market day! So, come on up to Sausmarez Manor, where great things are happening! The weather is looking perfect, so why not make it your mission to come and see for yourself?

Today, not only do we have Plant Heritage Guernsey and Grow Limited selling an incredible array of amazing seasonal plants and flowers, but we also have, for the first time, a selection of local, artisan cheese.

Adding that to the talents of local creatives, photographers, and designers, the market looks set to be a good one.

We also have live music from 11.00 - 13:00 from local legend Mark Guppy. Meat (from Cobo Butchers) and freshly grown produce. What's not to like?

The Market starts at 0900, and due to other events at The Manor today, a morning visit is recommended but not essential. Patois Tea Room, The Barn Gift Shop and Gallery, Duck feeding, Train rides, Pitch and Putt, and Guernsey Cans Coppersmiths are all open for business, too. So, if you have been meaning to check them out, then here's a great opportunity.

Remember, folks! Saturday is market day, and Summer Ray's Community Market is fast becoming the social hub and retail experience it has set out to be. Additional parking is available in the field directly opposite The Manor, too.

Hey folks ()! Please read this important information about this weekend (Fri 20th -Sun 22nd June).
Regrettably, online bookings have been suspended during this time due to myself being off Island. Those bookings that have already been made will, however, be honoured and remain intact.

Pitch and Putt will still be available to play throughout the weekend but will rely heavily on cash payments into the honesty box. (which is always there for donations for using the putting green).
Obviously, that's a risk, so I will appeal to you all, now, to not abuse it, please. This will also mean that you will have to help yourself to clubs, balls and a scorecard.

A quick reminder of prices. Under 16's and over 60's are £5. All those in between are £8

Card payments can be made. During the times that The Barn is open (written below).

Friday 20th............ 1pm-4pm.
Saturday 21st........ 10am-1pm.
Sunday 22nd..........10am-4pm.

Normal service will be resumed from Monday 23rd.

I am sorry for any inconvenience. I do hope you can still have a 'Hole Lotta Fun!'

Hey folks! Meet Alan. No, this isn't his election photo! He's the guy who works tirelessly to keep our course looking in top notch order.
I caught him here, quite unawares!
This is the usual 'Diet Coke break' stance he adopts, having just climbed down from the mower.
Seriously, though, thanks Alan for your efforts, it is appreciated.

Great news, folks ()! Evening bookings are now available, for weekdays, at Pitch and Putt - Guernsey! So, make the most of the long, sun drenched hours and get you and your friends, or family, booked in. A great way to work up an appetite before going out for a meal, or a super way to aid digestion, afterwards.....

Either way, the course looks beautiful, of an evening, the air is fresh and clean and you will have fun. Perhaps, it would make a great Father's Day treat?? CBX

Hey folks! Meet Geoff and his 'caddy' Vanessa. Geoff has just come back and registered the first reported HOLE IN ONE!
He achieved this on the 7th and followed up with a strong birdie 2, on the ninth!

Hey folks! On Saturday morning I had a great surprise when this group, from The Boys Brigade, turned up to play Pitch & Putt!

I was delighted to be able to provide them with everything they needed to get out on the course and have a great time, in spite of the slightly inclement conditions, at the time.

It's tricky to get twenty folks to smile at the same time, so apologies to those participants who's looks have been compromised in this photo!

Anyway, a huge thanks to them for choosing Pitch and Putt - Guernsey, it was a pleasure to see you all.
