Did anyone recognise this 50's inspired car used in week 1 of Strictly Come Dancing for Shaun and Alexis' Cha Cha? No... we at DDE did!

We were so happy to provide Strictly Come Dancing with one of our 50's hire cars and even more excited to have seen it on the TV last Saturday. Absolute amazing performance.

Thank you to Caroline, Bobby and the rest of the wonderful BBC Strictly team for all their help.

And just like that, August is over — but theatre never sleeps! It’s been another busy month for DDE, with our team travelling across the country and supporting some fantastic productions

Hyde’s Brewery – Party in the Car Park
Our full PA system took centre stage for Hyde’s Brewery’s Party in the Car Park season, supporting a fantastic line-up of artists and keeping the music going all day long at The Horse And Farrier and The Quarrybank

We Will Rock You Theatre Royal Windsor
DDE headed south to Windsor, taking our full graphics package, video wall and set to Theatre Royal Windsor, helping bring the iconic production to life.

Buxton Opera House
Our raised staging was installed at Buxton Opera House, custom-designed to perfectly fit their stage and production requirements.

The University of Salford
We brought a sports hall to life at Salford University, transforming the space with our lighting and drapes hire to create a completely new setting ready to welcome students back for the new academic year.

Behind the scenes at DDE
While our equipment has been out on the road, our team has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure our props, equipment and all things events are maintained, prepared and ready for whatever comes next.

August may be over, but there’s no slowing down at DDE. We’re already looking ahead to the next chapter, with plenty more productions, events and exciting projects on the way

Here’s to another busy month!

What fantastic news to see DDE mentioned in a NODA North - Amateur Theatre in your region show report for Blackpool & Fylde Light Opera Company - BFLOC production of We Will Rock You!

It was an incredible production, and we were delighted to be a part of it, providing the set, staging, video wall and graphics. A huge thank you once again to everyone who helped us on the day – your support and assistance were truly appreciated, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Congratulations to everyone involved on such a fantastic show!

What a month it's been for DDE!

July has been one of our busiest yet. Our technical packages have been in high demand, with our LED video walls lighting up everything from theatre productions like We Will Rock You to football screenings in pub gardens and community fields throughout the season ⚽

It hasn't just been video walls keeping us busy. Our sound hire team has been non-stop too, providing full outdoor PA systems with experienced engineers for pubs and live event stages across Manchester

Our Grease set has certainly been putting in the miles, travelling from Manchester to London before making its way to the beautiful Portsmouth Theatre Royal ✨

This football season saw a huge increase in the use of our video wall as the big screen for matchday events. It’s been a privilege to provide the big-screen experience for so many fantastic communities.

While the results on the pitch weren't always what we hoped for, the atmosphere and community spirit were second to none.

A huge thank you to Demi Madden for creating our videos and capturing the entire process from start to finish.

June Highlights

Another month saw the DDE team go out with a bang! 💥

Our We Will Rock You set and graphics package, including the video wall, reached some amazing companies and even received a compliment in the NODA North West review for Blackpool & Flyde Light Opera Company.

Our video wall season didn't stop with We Will Rock You. We were ready for the football season, installing big screens in time for kick-off at various sites across Manchester and Warrington.

Our Grease and High School Musical sets and staging graced some beautiful stages across the country.

Lymm Festival – always a pleasure! We provided staging, lighting and sound for another fantastic event. Well done to the whole team who worked so hard to make it a success.

Our DDE team also showcased their creative side by designing and installing a custom lighting rig for Reddish High School's production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

A huge thank you to all our clients and crew, bring on another busy month
