Open since 2012, Oscars plays back-to-back songs from musical theatre and film, both popular hits and lesser-known gems (with a little Disney thrown in for good measure). We also have live cabaret shows from some outstanding local musical performers and drag queens. Add to this our extensive cocktail menu with both classics and signature creations, a wide range of gin and vodka goblets, and our wine list, and you have all the ingredients for an unforgettable night out.

This week, we’re showing a 2008 classic, set on a stunning Greek island, and starring Meryl Street, Pierce Brosnan and Amanda Seyfried, all put to the music of ABBA ☀️ Free popcorn or Haribo with every round of drinks!
We’re open from 5pm, and the movie's set to start from 8.30pm, so come in out of the rain and the cold, and let yourself be transported to the sunny Mediterranean for the evening 🏝️

At Oscars, we naturally want to show our support for England in major football tournaments, and had hoped to show the England games in the upcoming World Cup in Qatar on our screens.
However, given the views and values of the host nation concerning our LGBTQ+ community, we cannot as a venue in the centre of the village and in all good consciousness support this year’s World Cup, and as such will not be showing any games. Our community always has and always will come first at Oscars.

The Lion King - Musical has landed at The Palace Theatre! Having started its run yesterday, The Lion King is showing until 19 February 2023 – so there’s NO excuse not to go and see it! 🦁👑

Well...what a weekend!! We've laughed, we've danced, we've sung and plenty of us are pretty shattered right now (not least our staff!) but we're still going as Vivienne Lynsey is in Oscars right now for our closing party! Thank you to all our customers for supporting us this weekend, and a massive shout out to our staff, and all Village staff, for the huge amount of hard work they've put in this weekend.
