wow.
RAGE closed last night. i'm still processing how i feel. this show has pushed me in ways i didn't know i could be pushed. it brought me catharsis in a way i didn't realise i needed. i will carry a piece of it with me forever. for the first time, i was able to be relentlessly myself, backstage and as a performer. i took the risks i wanted to take and fought the battles i wanted to fight.
none of it would have been possible without the incomparable andy sheridan, whose talent and dedication spurred me onward every step, and the wonderful without whom i would've been a tearful wreck far more often than i actually was, and, of course, my amazing castmates. thank you all for allowing me the space i needed to feel safe and confident. thank you all for your talent, humour and acceptance. you should all be so, so proud of yourselves.
to those who came to see us, thank you. to those who didn't, see you next time.
