Something exciting is happening at Hyde Festival Theatre… our 7Day Play is coming up, and we’re looking for young people aged 10–18 to get involved! 🌟

We’re looking for performers and creatives to take on a variety of roles throughout the project.

🌟🎤 **DAY 5 AT SUMMER POPSTAR CAMP — THAT’S A WRAP!** 🎤🌟

And just like that… **SUMMER POPSTAR CAMP 2026 IS COMPLETE!** 🥹💚✨

What an absolutely incredible five days we have had together! Today was our **FINAL DAY**, and after such a busy week of singing, dancing, recording, filming, creating and performing, we finished things off with a day full of fun, creativity and plenty of Wicked magic! 🧙‍♀️🌟

🎲 **ONE LAST ROUND OF WICKED FUN!**
We enjoyed some more Wicked-inspired games and activities together, making the most of our final few hours as one big Popstar team! 💚🩷

🎨 **TIME TO GET CREATIVE!**
Our Popstars designed and decorated their very own tote bags to take home — another special keepsake from their week with us! ✨

🍫 **A LITTLE BIT OF WITCHCRAFT… WITH CHOCOLATE!** 🧙‍♀️🍫
We got creative in the kitchen too, making and flavouring our own chocolate before pouring it into **witch-themed moulds!** Safe to say, this was a VERY popular activity! 😂💚

🎁 **SO MANY MEMORIES TO TAKE HOME!**
After five jam-packed days, it was finally time to gather up all of the crafts and creations everyone has made throughout the week — from mugs and photo frames to badges, keyrings, tote bags and plenty more! And all their media was put onto a USB - a memory stick of their sound recordings, photoshoots and music videos.

🎓 **AND THEN… GRADUATION!** 🎓✨

Our Popstars officially **GRADUATED from SDS S**z University!** 💚🌟

Everyone received their graduation certificate to celebrate completing an intense five-day course in all things **POPSTAR!** 🎤🎬🎧📸

And then came the hardest part…

🥹 **SAYING GOODBYE!**

New friendships have been made, confidence has grown, memories have been created and we really hope our Popstars leave us feeling incredibly proud of everything they have achieved this week. 💚

From their first steps into the recording studio on Monday to photoshoots, choreography, crafts, camera work, music videos and graduation today… **they have achieved SO much in just five days!**

Thank you for bringing your energy, enthusiasm, personalities and talent to Summer Popstar Camp. You have made this week incredibly special, and we hope you have enjoyed it just as much as we have!

A huge thank you also to all of the parents and families for trusting us with your Popstars this week and supporting everything we have created. 🌟

For now, the studio doors close, the cameras stop rolling and our Popstars head home with a whole week of memories…

🌟🎤 DAY 4 AT SUMMER POPSTAR CAMP! 🎤🌟
WOW… Day 4 is COMPLETE and today has been a BIG one! 💚✨

After four incredible days together, all the singing, dancing, rehearsing, recording and hard work has finally come together… because today was MUSIC VIDEO DAY! 🎬🌟

🎲 GAMES TO START THE DAY!
After breakfast, we kicked things off with some fun games and activities before getting ready for another visit to the recording studio! 💚🌈

🎙️ ONE BIG POPSTAR CHOIR!
Today, most of our Popstars came together for a very special group choir number! 🎶🎧
We recorded the vocals together before capturing the visuals too — bringing everyone together for one final big group recording from our Wicked-inspired week! 🌟💚

And then…
🎬 LIGHTS… CAMERA… ACTION! 🎬
The rest of the day was dedicated to FILMING OUR MUSIC VIDEOS! 🤩📹
After spending the week learning songs, recording vocals and perfecting choreography, it was finally time to get in front of the cameras and capture it all!

💻 NOW THE MAGIC HAPPENS OVERNIGHT… ✨
Tonight, it’s time to bring everything together!

All of the recordings, music videos, photos and media work created throughout the week will now be edited, produced and prepared, ready to be added to a personalised USB for EVERY attendee to take home! 🎬🎧📸💚

A whole week of memories and creativity, all in one place! 🌟

🥹 AND TOMORROW… IT’S OUR FINAL DAY!

We genuinely cannot believe how quickly this week has gone!

From stepping into the recording studio and performing in front of the camera, to dancing, crafting, photoshoots, making new friends and creating their very own music videos… they have packed SO much into this week!

We really hope every single one of our Popstars has had an AMAZING time with us.

One more day to go… and we’re going to make it a special one!

The cameras are coming out as our Popstars bring together their singing, dancing and everything they’ve worked so hard on this week to film their very own music videos! 🌟📹

🌟🎤 DAY 3 AT SUMMER POPSTAR CAMP! 🎤🌟

WOW… Day 3 is complete, and our Popstars have had another absolutely jam-packed day! 💚✨ We’re now over halfway through our Wicked-inspired week and everything is really starting to come together!

🎙️ MORE RECORDING STUDIO MAGIC!
Today, every one of our Popstars visited the recording studio, and we’re delighted that most of our vocal recordings are now COMPLETE! 🎧🎶
Throughout the week, they’ve been working incredibly hard learning and recording some beautiful new tracks — both as soloists and in small groups.

🖼️ GETTING CREATIVE!
It wouldn’t be Summer Popstar Camp without some crafting! 🎨✨
Today, our Popstars designed and decorated their very own photo frames, ready for a special photograph from their Popstar photoshoot! 📸
They also got creative designing their very own personalised mugs, which will be made especially for them and ready to collect later this week! ☕🌈

💃 PERFECTING THOSE ROUTINES!
The dancing continued today as we worked on perfecting the routines for our music videos! 🎬🕺
There’s been so much to learn in just three days, but the routines are really taking shape and we’re getting VERY close to being camera-ready!

💚 AND TOMORROW IS A BIG ONE…
Tomorrow, our Popstars will receive their very own SUMMER POPSTAR CAMP SHIRTS! 🌟👕

We’ll kick off the morning with some Wicked-inspired games and activities, before heading back into the studio for a very special group choir-style recording! 🎶🎙️
Then, in the afternoon…

🎬 LIGHTS… CAMERA… ACTION! 🎬
It’s finally time to FILM OUR MUSIC VIDEOS! 🤩🌈
Cameras, choreography and plenty of Popstar energy will all come together as we capture the performances they’ve been working towards all week!

And after that… somehow, we’ll already be heading towards our FINAL DAY! 🥹💚

🌟🎤 DAY 2 AT SUMMER POPSTAR CAMP! 🎤🌟

What another fantastic day we’ve had! 💚✨ Our Popstars have been super busy, creative and, of course, getting closer to becoming the stars of their very own music videos! ⭐🎬

🎙️ RECORDINGS HAVE BEGUN! 🎶
Today was a very exciting milestone as our Popstars headed back into the recording studio and officially started recording their songs! There were some fantastic performances, and we can’t wait to hear the finished tracks! 🎧🎤

🧪✨ Our creative activity took us into a wonderfully Wicked-inspired world as the children designed and created their very own magical potion bottles! 🧙‍♀️💚 They also got creative making colourful bracelets to take home. 🌈📿

📸⭐ POPSTAR PHOTOSHOOT!
The cameras were out today as we began the first part of our very special Popstar photoshoot! Our children had the chance to choose their own costumes and face paint, creating some truly fabulous Popstar looks! 💄✨ We’ve seen some AMAZING transformations! 🤩

💃🎶 We also continued learning and rehearsing the dances for our music videos, with those routines really starting to come together! 🌟🎬

🏛️💚 We were also delighted to welcome Lisa from the Council’s HAF Programme, who came along to visit us and spend some time speaking with some of the children taking part through the HAF Programme. It was lovely to have her see first-hand all the fun, creativity and opportunities our Popstars are enjoying this week! 😊

And that’s another day done! What a SUCCESSFUL DAY 2! 🌟👏

🌟🎤 WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY 1 AT SUMMER POPSTAR CAMP! 🎤🌟

We’ve had an absolutely brilliant first day, and what a way to kick off our Summer Popstar Camp! 💚✨

Today, our Popstars have been VERY busy…

🎨 We started the morning getting creative, making our own badges and designing personalised keyrings.

🎙️ Everyone had their first session in the recording studio, beginning to learn and rehearse the songs we’ll be professionally recording later this week!

💃 We got moving as we started learning the dances for our music videos — there are already some fantastic moves taking shape!

🎥 We also stepped in front of the camera for some presenting practice, learning how to speak directly down the barrel as we presented the weather from across the Land of Oz! Using the magic of our blue screen, our Popstars were transported straight into a wonderfully Wicked-inspired world! 🌪️🌈☀️

And that was only DAY ONE! 🤩

💚 Tomorrow: More vocal coaching, more dancing, another creative craft activity AND our Popstar Photoshoot! 📸⭐

We can’t wait to see what Day 2 brings!

🎭✨ PINOCCHIO REHEARSALS HAVE OFFICIALLY BEGUN! ✨🎭

Tonight, our 2026 cast of Pinocchio took their first steps into the magical world of Pantoland as rehearsals officially got underway! 💫

We kicked things off with plenty of singing, dancing and lots of energy as we begin bringing our brand-new family pantomime to life! 🎶💃🕺

There’s a lot of hard work, laughter and panto magic ahead over the coming months… and we can’t wait to take you along for the journey! 🤥🌟
