Just a week to go now and we'll be getting ready to head off for Strummercamp, now in its 20th anniversary year!
The ShyFest team are managing the indoor stage all weekend, so expect to see Yvette, Sam and DebZ, and of course, The Ian Fourcandles Experience opening the stage on ShyFest day (Sunday) alongside some superb grassroots acts.
Thick Richard, Naomi Kalu, Miss Airedale, Neural Dance, Tao of Gino, Summat Not Right and brilliant new band Thighs of Steel!
Phil Fitzpatrick and his team work tirelessly on this event year after year, much like we do. It's a real honour to be able to get on board for this special programme of events in it's 20th year. Hopefully see some of you there?

As you're probably aware, all of my work on this project has been not-for-profit, purely for the love of archiving the wonderful legacy of Steve, as well as staging the grassroots events.
There are certain fees incurred in keeping things moving and evolving, and there are fees involved in sustaining the website.

If you have the time, please would those of you who have attended ANY of my events be so kind as to take a few moments to leave me a review, as I will be quoting from them as part of my Arts Council application which is imminently due for submission.

If you could consider aspects such as community, grassroots, inclusivity, safe spaces, diversity, supportive and encouraging environment, peer mentoring, partnerships, shared experiences and skills, experimental space, etc etc etc., that would be really helpful.

If you’ve performed on multiple occasions, then please (if relevant), give mention to the development of your craft within the space/event or if and how important it’s been in the progression of your practice.
