I’ve been making art since childhood, inspired by observing nature and copying comic books. In my teenage years, influenced by the emerging hip hop scene from New York, I painted murals and designed flyers for underground club nights. I was excited by the rich variety of creativity that surrounded me. Studying Fine Art at Cheltenham College of Art expanded my practice and introduced me to a wider

spectrum of figurative, abstract, and conceptual approaches. After graduating, I moved into commercial children’s illustration and graphic design for both digital and print, while continuing to build a parallel portfolio of painting and drawing. Now, my practice is evolving again β€” weaving together the threads of my experience into sculptural work. I’m drawn to myths, symbols, and ancient archetypes, and how these old stories are ever present contemporary culture. My work reflects the rhythm of dance music, the quiet processes of nature, and the inner journeys of youth β€” especially the search for identity and meaning in a noisy, challenging world.

Meet Zac, one of our young ambassadors.
When Zac comes to Brink Art Studio, he’s not defined by what feels difficult. He’s defined by what’s possible.

He talks about his aspirations, about the future he’s shaping, and about how making gives him space to think, to breathe, to be himself without pressure.

We’re proud of Zac, not just for what he makes, but for the way he shows up, reflects, and keeps moving forward.

Art isn’t just something you look at.
Sometimes it’s the place you discover who you are becoming.

There’s so many benefits we can gain from being creative with our hands. Here’s one example from one of our young ambassadors sharing his experience of sculpting in the studio, the benefits of clay, having freedom to create, and navigating daily life with Dyspraxia.

Young sports student Zac is in the studio making sculpture and describes how he navigates his daily life with Dyspraxia.
