Ok Uk peak festival season MADNESS IS OVER !!! The admin' machine is back up and running.

We will be starting the next batch of refund requests as of today.

If you have been waiting, thank you for your patience, you will be contacted with in 48 hours of this post going live and we will have your refund processed shortly after.

SO WHERE ARE WE AT ???

We are in the middle of writing a very exciting contract that could secure our future for the foreseeable future. There is a lot to get through so please bear with us as we get the new site and date secured.

We fully understand that many of you may not be able to attend our new date and we will honour any refund requests BUT WE ARE IN DANGER OF NOT HAVING THE FUNDS TO PLACE A DEPOSIT ON THE NEW SITE.

This would be a disaster for us. If we can't secure a new site we will have to refund everyone and this WILL BANKRUPT SOMETHING DIFFERENT EVENTS LTD.

So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE keep supporting us, keep believing in us, Together we are SOMETHING DIFFERENT x x x x x

Massive apologies from us at Something Different HQ to those of you waiting for ticket refunds.

We’ve had a big tech glitch, and our automated refund process is not working. We are super sorry for any inconvenience, but technical issues plus a heavy admin load on our “Volunteer” admin crew, mixed with terrible timing and many muddles within the event industry, we have hit a bit of a critical mass situation at SD HQ.

If you have requested a refund you will be contacted within the next 7 days to manually process your refund. To protect your data and ensure you get your refund, we will have to manually process each refund request. Due to our tech glitch this will have to be done one person at a time and will take time to work through.

Our team is preparing to get on this now, it’s gonna take a bit of time to work through, so please bear with us and be kind to our volunteer admin crew. Your money is secure and you will get your refund if you have requested it.

New site visits begin tomorrow :) :) :)
We hit the road early tomorrow to start the first of our visits to potential sites. We will keep you posted on how we are getting on and hopefully have some solid location information nailed down for you soon :)

Thanks for everyone who helped us compile a list of 37 potential sites and venues. We have narrowed it down to about 10 sites that we are focusing our efforts on.

As we search for a suitable new home for our neuro-fuzzy creative community,, we are needing some funds to keep the giant cogs churning smoothly. We estimate the cost of moving the event site and finding somewhere suitable for our annual Collaboration Gathering to be up to £25,000.

We did not budget for a site move when we set our ticket price, so we will need to raise this money from elsewhere.

Those cogs need their grease to keep things rolling with minimal clunking.

Our community needs a space to thrive and continue growing organically.

We are not just a party! - We are a neuro-divergent-led creative ecosystem of musicians, artists, producers, promoters, performers, and creatives that gathers to spread positivity and wellbeing through exposure to music and art, allowing our creative community to thrive.

Our Industry is under threat from corporate and capitalist investment that does not align with our morals and ethos.

We are a grassroots independent micro festival and part of the A.I.F.

AS A SPECIES WE SURVIVED OUR WAY FOR 10,000 YEARS, a few thousand years ago something changed. We became disconnected from our environment and let our human ego run wild; we made everything about us, and we reprogrammed our brains to think in a different way.
