🇬🇧Malvern. As befits a farewell concert (in theatre jargon, a “green” one), there were a few adventures along the way:

- halfway through the concert, a cello string snapped. Replacing it took about half of Filip’s announcement, so there’s hope that the excellent English audience didn’t notice.

- on the horizon behind us, reflections from the lights formed a blue heart, which stayed with us throughout the entire concert 💙

And so our 2026 English tour has come to an end.

As a souvenir, we received a beautiful programme prepared especially for the concerts in England 😍.

🇬🇧It was a truly beautiful day:

- We began with a lovely invitation for coffee, and everything immediately felt brighter.
- Then we arrived in…

Buxton. The beautiful Opera House (forgive the number of photos, but it’s impossible to post fewer 😍), where memories from a year ago came flooding back:

- the restaurant whose Owner stayed at work especially for us, and thanks to that quite literally saved us ♥️
- the Opera House, which delights both outside and inside, from the perspective of the audience and the performers alike
- and the audience, who today carried us through both parts of the performance on the wings of their sensitivity.

Who knows? Perhaps next year we’ll have another beautiful day here.

Now we’re curious what awaits us in Cambridge and Malvern…
Off we go! 🚐

🇬🇧Lytham. The northernmost stop on our tour this year. But it was absolutely worth it. The English were in great spirits, and quite a few fellow Poles showed up too. And on top of that, we spotted several delightful little details:

- plaques on some of the auditorium chairs
- ⁠a cord that, to us, looks like something you’d pull for help, but here it’s used to switch the light on
- ⁠the hypnotic brick walls in the corridor by the dressing rooms
- ⁠Michał managed to track down his favourite treats (this is not product placement, though you really should try them)
- ⁠and, of course, a photo with a dog - what kind of band would we be otherwise?

And tomorrow we’ve been invited to a café by a Polish-English couple who own it. How could we possibly say no?

Oh well. We’ll just have to get a bit fatter…
